CLEAN OUT YOUR FREEZER DAY
18,251 lbs in 2024!
Every year, we set up statewide drop-off locations where EVERYONE can drop off ALL properly packaged and labeled frozen goods. This goes beyond just protein, and we collected 18,251 lbs on August 18, 2024!
Properly packaged means labeled and dated. The food bank won't take items that they can’t identify. Vacuumed sealed or from a professional processor are best.
Items do need to be frozen and will be placed in our volunteer's ice chests upon drop off. No need to leave personal ice chests with us.
Our drop-off locations are hosted by volunteer organizations, such as processors, restaurants, families, small businesses, shelters, kitchens, and more.
If you’d like to host a drop-off location in your region, please contact julie@h4hla.org, or fill out the form at the bottom of page.
